Sue Munro
After training as a teacher, Sue returned to university to complete a Bachelor of Science and Diploma of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney in 1986. She has since completed a Masters of Public Health also from University of Sydney and the Graduate Certificate of Diabetes Education and Management from the University of Technology, Sydney. She is currently an accredited practicing dietitian working towards credentialing as a diabetes educator.
Sue’s dietetic experience began at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (7 years) where she gained experience with cardiac patients and food intolerance. She then spent several years teaching at the University of Sydney while starting in private practice in 1990. She now works full-time in private practice.
Sue has developed an interest in several areas including:
- Diabetes Management
- Weight Management
- Metabolic Syndrome (high blood pressure, high cholesterol, fatty liver)
- Food intolerance
- Gastrointestinal disorders (coeliac disease, IBS)
- Disordered eating behaviour
Sue is the mother of two boys, one living with Type 1 diabetes. She has come to appreciate the demands of balancing a busy home life, business and chronic disease management.
Maureen Lynden
Maureen is an accredited practicing dietitian with over 20 years experience. She completed a Bachelor of Science and Graduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney. She also completed the Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and Management from the University of Technology Sydney and is working towards credentialing.

Maureen spent many years working in the public health system with experience in a variety of areas including diabetes, nutritional support, heart health and weight management. She has provided the diet education for patients within the Western Sydney Diabetes & Endocrine centre for many years and has extensive experience in managing all types of diabetes with a special interest in Gestational Diabetes. Maureen is also interested in:
- weight management,
- metabolic problems (hypertension, high cholesterol, fatty liver),
- nutritional support and weight gain.
She enjoys keeping fit in order to keep up with her family commitments and a busy practice. |
